The third biennial Northwestern University Symposium on Technology for Design and Construction will be held on August 13, 14, and 15, 2014. Following the overwhelming success and enthusiastic feedback from our 350 plus participants and two dozen vendors in our 2011 and 2012 events, the 2014 Symposium will feature even more timely subjects in the industry and provide more opportunities for networking, knowledge-building, and exposure to cutting edge developments.

Objective:

This 2014 Symposium on Technology for Design and Construction will assemble design and construction researchers, academics, and practitioners to discuss the present state-of–the-art and the prospects for future advancements in this field. The primary focus is to improve project efficiency by reducing costs, accelerating delivery, improving quality, minimizing risks, and leveraging resources.
